Turkish Occupation in Northern and Eastern Syria
The ongoing Turkish occupation in the northern and eastern regions of Syria has deeply impacted the area. According to statistics, the attacks have resulted in the loss of at least 8 civilians' lives and injuries to dozens of people in the city of Qamishlo; in Kobani, 2 individuals were also injured. The Turkish occupation initiated its consecutive attacks from Kobani on December 25th, targeting Qamishlo. On the first day alone, it aimed at a total of 22 different points, striking service and vital areas, as well as commercial establishments. Similarly, on the second day, 22 different points came under attack. This time, the targets included once again service and vital areas, along with commercial establishments, but 10 of them also comprised security points.
